Built on Practical Wisdom, Not Theory
Teak Meridian exists to help Thai businesses make stronger, more informed decisions.
Back to HomeOur Story
Teak Meridian was founded in 2013 by a small group of advisors who had spent years inside corporate strategy departments and saw a gap in the Thai consulting market. Most of the advisory firms serving mid-sized businesses were either too large — with high overheads and one-size-fits-all frameworks — or too informal, lacking the analytical depth that serious business decisions require.
We opened our first office on Tha Phae Road in Chiang Mai with a simple idea: companies in the north of Thailand and across the country deserve the same quality of strategic thinking as those in Bangkok's towers. Over the past twelve years, that idea has guided every engagement we've taken on.
Today, Teak Meridian works with manufacturers, hospitality groups, technology firms, and professional service providers. Our clients range from family-owned businesses navigating their first major expansion to regional enterprises managing hundreds of employees across multiple sites. What connects them is a desire for honest, practical guidance — and that's what we aim to provide.
Our name reflects two things we value. Teak — a wood known for strength and patience. Meridian — a line of orientation that helps you know where you stand. Together, they represent the kind of consulting we practice: steady, well-grounded, and focused on direction.

Client Confidentiality
Every engagement is governed by a non-disclosure agreement. Client data, financials, and strategic plans remain private at all times.
Evidence-Based Methodology
Our recommendations come from verified data sources and structured analysis — never from assumptions or boilerplate templates.
Transparent Pricing
We scope every project with clear deliverables and costs upfront. There are no hidden charges or ambiguous billing structures.
Regulatory Awareness
Our advisors stay current with Thai commercial regulations, labor law developments, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
Continuous Improvement
After every engagement, we conduct an internal review to identify what worked well and what could be sharper next time.
Data Protection
All client information is stored in secured systems with restricted access. We follow Thailand's PDPA guidelines for handling personal data.
What Drives Our Work
At the core of Teak Meridian's practice is a belief that good business consulting should leave a company more capable than it was before. Not dependent on outside advice, but better equipped to make its own decisions. That's the difference between advisory work that creates value and work that creates reliance.
We draw on a deep understanding of the Thai business environment — from labor market conditions in the northern provinces to regulatory shifts at the national level. This local knowledge allows us to craft strategies that are not only analytically sound but also practically implementable. A strategy that looks elegant on paper but ignores the realities on the ground does no one any good.
Our consulting philosophy is rooted in dialogue. We listen before we advise, and we keep our engagements focused enough that each piece of analysis serves a clear purpose. Whether we're mapping a client's competitive landscape, restructuring their talent pipeline, or sitting alongside their leadership team during a quarterly review, the goal stays the same: help them see the full picture and move forward with confidence.
